O-bit Telecom: End User Portal

O-bit Telecom is pleased to announce yet further developments on their Ask Merlin software. Responding to client demand an End User Portal has been designed in order to offer all resellers an online functionality for their clients to review account information. The service is offered to O-bit resellers as a value add to the current proposition and it sees an overnight enhancement to the reseller market proposition.

Consumers and Businesses demand fingertip ready information. Online account information is prevalent in many other industries and up until now has been reserved to larger network players however this bold move sees a totally integrated reporting suite from network provision to the functioning user. O-bit believes that this new facility sees a rebalancing of tools and value adding services offered by the smaller reseller in to SME.

The portal offers a full overview of the customer account for invoicing and ordering; they can see the products and services they currently have live and can find copies of invoices that have previously been mislaid. End users will be able to see all basic information; bills and services online rather than previously being able to view this information in one monthly invoice sent out by the reseller. If an end user has a question regarding their account their first port of call can now be the online portal rather than an email or telephone call to the supplier;

“Ultimately we envisage that this will assist in the creation of time efficiencies and management of a client base for our resellers”. Comments Dave Breith, CEO O-bit.

The End User portal is White Labelled and resellers have an option to drop portal access onto their own website from a link provided by O-bit. Access is simply through a username and password and the portal will look as if it has been embedded into the resellers own website; there is no need to access the tool through the O-bit domain. Alternatively, it is possible to access the portal via white label site, www.yourphonebill.co.uk.

Once again this further demonstrates O-bit’s commitment to providing control mechanisms for resellers to manage their own business, as they see fit. In this instance the Reseller will have control over who has access to this portal and it will ultimately save resellers huge quantities of time, as End Users will now be able to solve many problems independently.

Due to the flexibility of having an in-house team of programmers, the software offered to O-bit Resellers is under constant development and whereas this represents the latest development; there are already additional services and tools on the Ask Merlin roadmap which will further enhance the End User portal functionality.
