O-bit Telecom puts charity first this Christmas

This Christmas, O-bit Telecom is making a donation to the Purple Club, a charity dedicated to improving the education of children through the use of technology. O-bit has decided to send Christmas e-cards to its customers and partners this year, and will use the money it saves from posting cards to donate to the charity.

“Sending Christmas e-cards allows us to spread festive cheer whilst also letting us help others at Christmas,” explains Dave Breith, CEO, O-bit Telecom. “It’s easy for charities to get forgotten in a sticky economy, but it just takes a bit of flexibility to free up the cash to make a donation.”

Purple Club is a UK charity founded in 2006 to improve the education of disadvantaged children. It helps achieve this through the use of technology to give children constant access to learning and technology, both at home and at school.
