ONI and Zeacom Partner to Provide a UC Solution for the Contact Centre

Unified Communications company, Zeacom has joined forces with ONI, a provider of integrated voice, data, and video solutions to drive the Zeacom Communications Centre (ZCC) into the UC contact centre market. The partnership will create a sales platform to deliver a comprehensive UC offering with proven RoI, enabling contact centres to improve collaboration within daily working practices and improve operational efficiencies.

Zeacom’s ZCC enables contact centre agents to manage calls strategically and intelligently, reducing call times and therefore providing tangible return on investment. Samuel Williams, General Manager of Zeacom Europe explains, “Collaboration and communication is the key to any organisation remaining productive and delivering constant high levels of customer service to its customers. The contact centre is integral to the delivery of customer service, so for today’s customers, the need for a strategy that intelligently and simply pools together knowledge resources is paramount.”

Kevin Kivlochan, Sales and Marketing Director at ONI comments, “We have a responsibility to our customers to deliver a communications platform that will enhance UC services, but want to do so without the associated complexity and Zeacom is perfect for this. There is a huge opportunity to deliver UC solutions that provide real-life tangible benefits, and having ZCC in our portfolio will help us to harness this opportunity to the full. In particular, ZCC has an international reputation within the Local Government vertical, and I’m confident that this partnership will enable us to deliver ZCC to our existing Local Government clients whilst also increasing our portfolio across the whole of the public and private sector.”

Working within the contact centre, ZCC enables an organisation to benefit from the advantages of collaboration and UC whilst protecting its existing communications investment. ZCC brings together unified messaging, mobility, conferencing, desktop telephony, and contact centre functionality in a single application and common interface which can be added to Skype and MSN applications.

Samuel Williams, General Manager at Zeacom Europe concludes, “This partnership is a great endorsement of our technology. Working together to deliver the ZCC offering throughout the UK, we can work to ensure that end-user organisations can deliver high levels of customer service with tangible results, even in this unstable economic market.”
