Openaire Distribution Launch IP Phone with Built in PBX

A specialist FMC solution provider is launching what they describe as the world’s first Voice over IP SIP based IP-PBX Phone.

Openaire Distribution says their Clarity 4020GSB is a SIP phone unlike any other as it has an integrated 15 extension IP-PBX built into it.

“The 4020GSB eliminates the need for a PBX or IP-PBX. It doesn’t stop there; the 4020GSB is also the first phone with an integrated quad band GSM module, allowing the phone to route mobile calls to the user’s preferred mobile network. It also provides an array of FMC features which unifies a user’s mobile and delivers a ‘One Number Service’. The 4020GSB includes an analogue fail over port, Auto Attendant, recordable IVR and acts as an IP gateway.”

Openaire claims the 4020GSB will set the standard for FMC IP devices and states that to purchase all of the integrated features the 4020GSB would normally cost £100’s, but aims to deliver at the cost of a high end phone. Openaire then goes on to claim that with the mobile routing module, the 4020GSB could save an SME up to 60% of their call costs.
