Outsourcery wins Personnel Today Award

Outsourcery, the provider of unified communications (UC), Cloud computing specialists and Microsoft’s Hosting Solutions Partner of the Year, has won the Employer Branding award at the annual Personnel Today Awards 2010

Generally acknowledged as one most prestigious events in the HR calendar, the judges look for a clear explanation of how the employer brand was created and is being maintained, the benefits it has brought to the organisation, and its impact on recruitment, retention and employee engagement.

Claire Billington, HR Director of Outsourcery said, “We are absolutely delighted to have won the Personnel Today Award for Employer Branding. This award recognises the hard work and efforts displayed by our managementteam to turn Outsourcery into an industry brand, a world-leading company and a great place to work. Our success this year shows that despite the economic slump, we have shown determination and drive to push the company forward.”

In the space of two years Outsourcery has been transformed from a mobile voice and data business into a recognised world leader in the fast growing market for hosted IT solutions. There were particular HR challenges along the way most particularly how to integrate the team cultures from three recent acquisitions, into a single winning unit across a newly unified organisation.

Billington said, “Effectively the business needed to build a new culture around our new brand values for people to believe in to build an upbeat company culture coupled with high standards of customer service, so loyalty would develop. The changes required strong leadership and resulted in a total re-branding which was carefully managed, bringing the brand to life through a new strong verbal and visual identity.”
