Panasonic Bolster IP Platform

Panasonic has boosted the performance of its popular NS1000 IP platform by developing a series of enhanced features.

The feature-packed communications server benefits from advanced call management functionality, in response to reseller requests.

Available from distributor Nimans, the NS1000 version 3 offers businesses a quicker response to customer enquiries, optimum productivity through ‘presence’ capabilities, increased mobility functionality and desktop integration and applications – delivering the power to unite workforces big and small.

Nimans’ Panasonic Business Manager, Sam Giggle, says the improvements take the NS1000 to a new level of sophistication and flexible performance.

“It’s a very popular system and the latest enhancements represent a further impressive step forward,” says Sam. “Many of the improvements are in response to reseller feedback and it’s refreshing to see such a powerful solution brought to market.”

A built-in VPN, ACD status reporting and data back-up are combined with improved user profile settings.

“Thanks to its modular architecture the system can be tailored for individual site requirements from a small office to a multi-branch business. Based on SIP and IP protocols the NS1000 also supports TDM infrastructure and can seamlessly integrate smartphones and tablets as part of a powerful UC solution.”

Sam added: “It’s easy to see why Panasonic are so excited by this latest product development that builds on the success of the previous versions. Resellers now have an even stronger weapon in their sales armoury, from Nimans.”
