Peach Telecom has won a highly-competitive pitch to become Hampshire Chamber of Commerce’s preferred communications supplier.
The firm, which has some 5,000 customers across the UK, is now the official partner of the Chamber and will work with the business organisation to provide telecommunications packages for all of its members.
The win comes after a toughly-fought pitch process, in which several big names battled it out to prove they could provide the best service.
Using the buying power of the membership network, Peach Telecom will give Chamber members heavily reduced prices for telephone systems, installation and support, broadband and landline and mobile phone bills.
The award-winning telecom firm will essentially regard all Chamber members as one company and allow even the smallest of companies within the Chamber to benefit from rates that would normally only be available to businesses with significant numbers of telecom users.
The service will be provided in association with Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, under the name ‘Chamber Communications’.
Peach Telecom’s Managing Director, Darren Scott-Healey, said: “Winning this very competitive tender is a massive accolade for Peach Telecom and testament to the fact that we don’t just install and supply phone lines – we listen to problems and create tailor-made solutions.
“This new venture will be of huge benefit to Chamber members across Hampshire – particularly smaller businesses who often struggle to get good rates compared to large companies with big buying power.”
Maureen Frost, Director of Operations at Hampshire Chamber, said: “This was a highly competitive pitch but Peach Telecom stood out from the crowd. It proved all the way through the tender process that it listened to the challenges of our members and came back to us with the right solutions to support businesses in our network.
“We know that by working together with Peach Telecom we will be able to provide our members with yet another benefit to being part of our network.”
