Peer 1 Hosting joins VMware Service Provider Program

Peer 1 Hosting, the online IT hosting provider, has announced its participation in the VMware Service Provider Program (VSSP) to offer customers Private Cloud solutions. This relationship will provide customers with access and visibility of their hosted VMware environments augmented by Peer 1 Hosting’s Managed services.

Peer 1’s Hosted Private Cloud will enable companies of all sizes to run their web applications, protect their data, systems, and services using virtualisation technology. Companies will benefit from peace of mind with increased business continuity and disaster recovery options. Customers will be able to manage and monitor their Private Cloud using VMware vSphere.

Peer 1 Hosting’s Private Cloud powered by VMware is hosted on the company’s 10Gb SuperNetworkTM backbone to ensure faster performance, low latency and no single point of failure.
