Pennine earns quality management award

The quality of Bury-based Pennine Telecom’s systems and processes has been independently verified with the awarding of ISO9001 certification.

The data and telecommunications specialist received the international recognised quality management standard following thorough evaluation by the national certification body, Centre For Assessment. To achieve accreditation Pennine had to demonstrate a commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

“ISO9001 provides independent verification of the quality of our management processes and our dedication to the customer,” commented Pennine Telecom’s managing director, Andrew Roberts. “Precisely because of that it’s an increasingly sought after qualification and one which will give Pennine a further edge in an ever competitive marketplace. Many large public and private sector organisations demand or favour suppliers which have secured ISO9001.”

He added that accredited organisations operate more efficiently, enjoy higher staff motivation and benefit from increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.
