PSU Achieves Possibly Its Best Ever BSI Audit Results

Leading ICT (Information and Communications Technology) provider PSU Technology Group (PSU), has just announced details of possibly its best ever audit report, following the recent visit it received from a British Standards Institute (BSI) auditor, which also resulted in the renewal of the company’s ISO certification for another three years.

The audit results which measured the company’s adherence to the requirements set down in the ISO 9001:2008 standard, graded PSU as ‘effective’ across all areas of its business – including a special ‘very effective’ rating for its service desk activities. In the context of auditor language, this was particularly pleasing given that the highest possible grading of ‘effective’ is rarely achieved. Any company that achieves ‘effective’ across all areas of its business, plus the unusual accolade of ‘very effective’ for a particular service is doing extremely well.

The company’s move towards providing managed services solutions, including virtualised and cloud-based offerings, is already seeing it further develop its internal processes, in order to gain additional industry recognition through ISO 20000 accreditation.

Commenting on the latest results Nigel Davies, Technical Director, PSU Technology Group, said: “We are delighted to have achieved quite possibly our best ever audit results, since we first gained BSI accreditation in 1994. It is also especially pleasing considering the ongoing work we have been involved in to develop our internal processes, as we continue to evolve as a fully integrated ICT and managed services provider.”
