Outsourcing services provider Quiss Technology has been engaged by Dudley-based Wright Solicitors to provide a fully managed, hosted IT solution for the local law firm.

“In this particular case the case management software would not support a jump to Windows 8 and Office 2013, but the system works perfectly and will undoubtedly deliver the rise in productivity any good system upgrade generates. “Wright Solicitors is a busy law firm and any disruption to service would be a problem for a firm that prides itself on the quality of service it delivers to its clients. The decision was made to send our engineers on site late Friday afternoon to prepare for a weekend roll-out of the system. After back-ups were created, the servers were switched off, carefully removed and transported to the data centre, where they were installed and re-commissioned.
“All the old hardware was removed on the Saturday and new equipment was installed over the weekend, including network switches, with the pre-installed operating system up and running on Sunday for final checks to be performed, ready for Monday.
“Our total IT outsourcing service covers all hardware in the firm’s Dudley office and their servers in the data centre, which allows Wright Solicitors to move forwards with complete confidence in the ability of their IT to be an enabler for growth, not something holding them back.”
