A much anticipated update of the popular, free Qype app is now available on Android and BlackBerry, bringing users Facebook check-in integration for the first time.
The app will allow Qype users to see current visitors of a place, including their Facebook friends. They will also be shown who, out of their Qype and Facebook friends, has been to the place before.
The new app is also set up with Premium on Mobile which helps businesses to spread the word about their company on mobiles. Businesses with a free listing on Qype can now choose to upgrade to Premium on mobile only; and existing premium customers can decide whether to maximise their mobile visibility as well as their online presence.
The new app is available to download or update through BlackBerry APP World or Android Market.
