ramsac awarded ‘Gold Competency’ by new Microsoft Partner Network

ramsac, the IT solutions consultancy, has been awarded the highest level of Microsoft Partner accreditation, Gold Competency, in the new Microsoft Partner Network. The accreditation demonstrates ramsac’s continued excellence in providing, maintaining and developing the best Microsoft solutions to fit the business needs of its clients.

With Microsoft systems at the core of many business critical networks, ramsac’s Gold Competency accreditation highlights the company’s specialist knowledge, product expertise, practical experience and business understanding - which are vital in providing client companies with the specialist support they need to fully realise the benefits of their IT systems investment.

Having been a long-term member of the previous Partner Programme, ramsac was keen to be accredited under the new scheme, which Microsoft launched at the end of 2010. The new improved Microsoft Partner Network is designed to give members further guidance and support when implementing and developing Microsoft products and services. With additional tiers of accreditation, customers are also able to more easily select a partner that most closely suits their individual need, and the significantly enhanced requirements needed in order to achieve the Gold standard, means that customers can have even greater confidence that their Gold accredited partner can deliver a sound IT solution.

ramsac is a long-term Microsoft partner and Managing Director of ramsac, Robert May, comments, “As the highest level of accreditation Microsoft offers partners, we are extremely proud to receive Gold Competency. With even greater customer service and technical expectations for partners under the new programme, it represents a public declaration of ramsac’s expertise and gives a measurable benchmark on the quality of support and expert advice clients can expect from us. We are constantly looking for ways to develop our outsourced IT offering and firmly believe that proving our skills to our ongoing and future clients is an integral part of maintaining and further building upon our professional integrity.”

ramsac’s Microsoft Partner accreditation also follows a recent UK-wide survey commissioned by Microsoft, which showed that 100 percent of ramsac’s clients would recommend its services to others. The company has also been ranked as one of the top 100 managed IT service providers in the world. The MSPmentor 100 list places the Surrey-based company at 85th position in the global ranking and 11th place in the UK.

To achieve the Gold Competency accreditation ramsac has had to demonstrate it employs multiple Microsoft Certified Professionals, with a wide range of technical examinations covering all aspects of the Microsoft suite. The company has also demonstrated 24 specific and relevant customer references, had an independent audit of its customer satisfaction and trained several specialists in the sales and licensing of Microsoft products. The new Microsoft Partner Network criterion includes the demonstration of competency around consulting staff, revenue commitments, and implementation methodology to show a consistent standard.
