Redstone awarded £21.9m infrastructure project by leading UK bank

The company announces a contract to the value of £21.9M with a leading UK bank. Redstone was appointed after a competitive tendering process, and this deal continues a long standing relationship between Redstone and the bank.

This new project will see Redstone design and deliver a new data centre comprising four halls. Redstone will provide the underlying structured cabling and cabinets as well as an intelligent management system and an environmental monitoring solution. The project will be delivered over the course of twelve months beginning in November 2011 with the majority being delivered in Redstone's next financial year.

Tony Weaver, Chief Executive of Redstone, commented: "It is extremely gratifying to not only continue this strong relationship with a long-term customer but to also further demonstrate our strength in the financial sector. Following our other recent announcements regarding key wins in the sector, this latest deal shows once again the faith our customers place in us to deliver their mission-critical data centres."
