Reliable Connectivity Paramount in Small Business

Following a survey published by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) which found that reliable Internet is critical to the success of small businesses, Zen has today announced the findings from a recent survey of its new and existing Business Fibre and Phone packages customers.

Zen’s survey was based on its business Fibre Optic Broadband and Phone services which deliver high quality, affordable broadband with fast download speeds, with a choice of “up to 38Mbps” or “up to “76Mbps” download speeds, these packages come with truly unlimited usage (subject to product options).

Customers responded to the survey after being asked about their reliability, speed and overall satisfaction. The main reason for customers choosing Zen over another ISP was due to Zen’s reputation for service, with 80% choosing Zen because of its reputation for quality and 60% for its award winning service and UK based support. 89% of respondents also stated that they noticed an improvement in their speed and reliability.

48% of respondents stated that value for money was an important factor for choosing Zen, with 45% of respondents giving no traffic management as a key consideration. Unlike most ISPs, Zen’s customers can enjoy their usage allowance at the fastest speed their connection can support at any-time, no matter what type of application and service they want to access or what type of media they wish to access.

The FSB survey of small firms found that 71% of respondents agreed that reliable Internet is critical to the success of their business and 43% would pay more for a faster and more reliable connection.

“As reported by the FSB, it’s clear that reliable Internet is critical to the success of small businesses, so we are pleased that 89% of Zen customers noticed an improvement in their speed and reliability. Businesses are now heavily reliant on their Internet connection and must ensure that they are getting the level of performance and service they need to function effectively. A reliable, high performance connectivity service can offer a real competitive advantage and enable productivity improving applications to be embraced,” said James Griffin, Head of Product Management and Marketing.
