Rudberg to take the helm at 20:20 Mobile Sweden

20:20 Mobile Group has announced management changes to the former AxCom business, which has been rebranded as 20:20 Mobile Sweden.

Former AxCom managing director, Fred Ridderstad, will take on a broader role for the Group, building up the business across the Nordic states, while new appointment, Fredrik Rudberg, will head the company’s Swedish operation as managing director, reporting to Ridderstad.

Rudberg, aged 40, has 15 years experience in senior roles in the telecoms sector, latterly at Nokia Sweden where he was business manager, Scandanavia, responsible for Telia Sonera’s sales channels in Sweden.

Commenting on his appointment, Group CEO Meinie Oldersma said:

“I am delighted to announce Fredrik’s appointment. He is a first rate addition to the team with years of experience in the telecomms business, both from retail, product and marketing perspectives.

“He will contribute our overall development and strengthen our position as the leading distributor in the Swedish telecom market.”

Meanwhile Ridderstad will concentrate on developing the geographical expansion of the business across the Nordic countries, in line with the 20:20 Mobile Group strategic plan.

Oldersma added: “Fred will continue to lead our business in the region, utilising his huge experience in the Nordic markets.”

Commenting on Rudberg’s appointment, Ridderstad added:

“I‘m very much looking forward to our coming collaboration.”

Rudberg takes over as managing director, Sweden, from 9 February.
