Sennheiser Communications has received recognition in The Sunday Times, with the broadsheet awarding Sennheiser's consumer CX 890i earphones with the title of ‘Best for all round sound' in a recent review of the market's leading earphones. The review went on to praise the CX 890i earphones for having "Great all-round sound and a rugged design", and awarded the Sennheiser earphones with five stars.

Designed for use with Apple's iPhone, iPad and iPod, the CX 890i earphones feature a stylish and comfortable design with a choice of earbud sizes to ensure a good fit. Sound quality is excellent, and an in-line remote and mic make these earphones the perfect replacements for the factory issue earphones supplied with the iPhone and hands free calls. In the review The Sunday Times, said "The ball-shaped buds sit well in the ear and feel secure. Sound quality is balanced, with a decent amount of bass when required: whether listening to acoustic tracks, rock or dance music, these are accomplished all-rounders."

Commenting on The Sunday Times review, Charlotte Gaskin, Channel Marketing Manager for Sennheiser UK stated, "This award from a leading quality Sunday newspaper for one of our consumer products reflects the excellence in terms of audio quality and ergonomic design that is a feature of all Sennheiser products. Our channel resellers can have confidence that excellence is synonymous with the Sennheiser brand both in the consumer and professional headphone markets. As the professional headset market is discovering, why have second best when you can have Sennheiser?"
