Sennheiser’s New Bluetooth headset on view on Siemens stand at Convergence Summit South

Sennheiser Communications’ latest Bluetooth headset, the VMX Office, will be on display on Siemens Enterprise Communications’ booth at the forthcoming Convergence Summit South, Sandown Park, October 7th and 8th. The new VMX Office raises the bar for sound quality, safety and comfort, putting it into a class of its own.

“Both Sennheiser and Siemens research reveals that a surprisingly high number of workers use their mobile phones at their desk. In addition, the trend towards mobile working creates an opportunity for business to provide a boost to staff morale whilst increasing productivity using converged communications solutions,” said Michael Wyman, corporate account manager, Sennheiser Communications.

Sennheiser Communications and Siemens Enterprise Communications have conducted preliminary trials of the VMX Office together with OpenStage 60 S and OpenStage 80 S telephones. “We’re delighted with the way that the features of both products integrate to provide a complete desktop solution which meets modern working needs,” continued Wyman.

In addition to connecting with mobile and landline systems, the new VMX Office will also connect with desktop or laptop computers using wireless, Bluetooth connectivity. The new headset features a lightweight and well balanced design to provide all day comfort to busy professionals on the move, at their desks or transitioning between both environments.

The new VMX Office incorporates Sennheiser’s ActiveGard technology and VoiceMax, to protect the user’s hearing as well as ensure call quality. Ease-of-use also makes the VMX Office really stand out, promising to make it the headset of choice for the new generation of mobile workers.
