Sentrum Colo Partners with Next Connex to Deploy Open Access Networking Across Data Centre

Sentrum Colo has partnered with Next Connex to deliver open access networking across its Hayes data centre. This new partnership will offer Sentrum Colo’s customers exceptional network connectivity, allowing them to connect to any carrier across the UK through a simple fibre link.

Through multiple ultra-low latency 10GB waves into the data centre, the open access connectivity eliminates the need to maintain a costly presence in London’s main carrier exchange, allowing Sentrum Colo to connect with over 200 carriers available at Telehouse North, including LINX. In addition, with the data centre connecting directly to the Slough node, it is now able to provide internet links to the USA and Europe.

“This new partnership allows us to expand our customers’ connectivity, offering them the flexibility to connect to the widest possible choice of carriers. With its ability to provide flexible, high bandwidth and high availability connectivity, Next Connex has enabled us to offer exceptional network connectivity throughout the UK,” said Stephen Scott, Managing Director, Sentrum Colo.

Sentrum Colo is now uniquely positioned to deliver the highest quality colocation with resilient power and cooling and industry leading security features, supported by resilient networking.

“It is a privilege to be working in partnership with Sentrum Colo, one of the biggest names in data centres in the UK. Its innovative data centre is ideally located in West London and has a very high technical and security specification combined with value for money and flexibility,” said Bob Griffiths, Sales Director, Next Connex.
