This agreement builds on the successful partnership between Siemens and Global Crossing in the UK, focusing on providing innovative communication solutions for Government departments since 1996. In 2004, Siemens and Global Crossing successfully partnered to supply and deliver the IP-enabled telephony solution which enables flexible working for more than 110,000 users in HM Government departments. This deployment resulted in Siemens Communications being awarded the UK’s highest profile award for business, the 2006 Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation.
