In addition, Skyscape has invested in tackling the skills gap with a work placement programme for a select number of undergraduates to gain experience in cloud and virtualisation technologies. The programme is open to students on sandwich degree courses that want to develop cloud skills and gain experience in the operation, development and marketing of cloud solutions. This month saw nine undergraduates join Skyscape as part of this programme and it is hoped that more than 15 will join as part of next year’s intake of undergraduates.
