SpliceCom Channel Partners “Blinded By The Light”

SpliceCom joined with its channel partners to celebrate a year of growth and achievement, culminating with the worldwide launch of Vision, earlier this month.

Held in the splendor of Moor Park, Hertfordshire the SpliceCom event was attended by over 100 partners. Delegates heard from Graham Harris, Head of UK Sales, how the introduction of SpliceCom’s PCS 560 and PCS 570 IP Phones towards the end of 2008 had resulted in the British company outpacing all its competitors by bucking the trend in its primary market; posting record sales for the first three months of 2009 and increasing system shipments year on year by 14% in a market that had shrunk by 38% over the same period. Harris also announced that SpliceCom had increased their share of the UK IP PBX market to 18.4% in Q.1 2009, another all time best performance.

However, the main part of the day was set aside for Harris, ably assisted by Regional Account Manager Stuart Bell and Lead Developer Adam Houston, to unveil SpliceCom Vision to the gathered masses – but not before everyone had donned their blue protective Vision glasses. Vision is a web-based application suite which offers a Business Dashboard for companies of all sizes, delivering a comprehensive range of real-time information and historical reports to those that need it, irrespective of where they might be. Developed from the ground up by SpliceCom to work in true partnership with maximiser, Vision comprises of four key elements; Reports, Recording, Live and Mobility. The SpliceCom team took the time to demonstrate Vision in depth, focusing on the application’s benefits, where it would be applicable and how it could be positioned to provide clear differentiation at the point of sale.

“It was a delight to see well over 100 of our key channel partners taking the time to attend the Vision launch at Moor Park,” said Graham Harris, summing up the day. “Our partners have been requesting that we deliver value added applications that have an intimate relationship with the core maximiser system and which are supported by ourselves. These web-based applications will add to the momentum already gained from the release of the market’s best IP Phones at the end of last year. Vision will help our resellers sell even more systems and also increase the value and profit of each of those sales,” concluded Harris.
