David Cameron, Witney MP and Prime Minister, praised the inspirational enterprise culture in West Oxfordshire in a speech at the Awards, describing the finalists, sponsors and winners present as "great role models to have set up, worked in and succeeded in business."
STL’s Managing Director Brendon Cross was also a finalist in the Strategic Mentors Business Person of the Year Award.
With a record number of entrants in this year’s awards, Mike Leggett, chairman of the WOBA Organising Committee, commented in his speech that the quality of the entries received was also much higher than in previous years.
