Stonesoft Continues Channel Push

Reading based Stonesoft Corporation, a provider of security and business continuity solutions has appointed distributor and services company Cohort Technology as its second distributor to help it reach a wider reseller base in the UK.

Cohort Technology, whose key sectors include finance, local government and the NHS, will use a combination of partner and end-user e-shots, telemarketing, e-marketing and events to promote Stonesoft’s portfolio of firewall, ISP high availability, SSL-VPN, IPS, VoIP, secure virtualisation and managed services to its existing customer base. Cohort Technology will also use its technical skills to assist partners with evaluation and pre-sales, and also offer a suite of post sales services including onsite maintenance and 24/7 Technical support.

Managing director of Cohort Technology Grahame Smee said: “We’re keen to grow the business in line with Stonesoft’s expectations. We are planning significant amounts of marketing and lead generation activities and will pass opportunities back through the channel.”
