Summer Charity Drive at Rocom

Distributor Rocom is engaging in a number of charity initiatives this summer including a campaign with Brother UK where the two companies are working together to raise money for Cancer Research UK through sales of Brother’s new limited-edition pink P-touch 1000P, a labelling device for homes and offices.

£2.50 from each sale of the £32.99 cost of the product will be donated to the charity, with Rocom being the sole distributor of the P-touch 1000P.

Units have also raffled internally at Rocom, raising £122 in a few days with all proceeds again going to Cancer Research UK.

Rocom’s Staff are already involved in an array of fundraising activities this summer, including The London Marathon, London to Brighton Bike Ride, Race For Life and Lyke Wake Walk (that’s a colossal 42 miles!) to name but a few. They will be raising money for The British Heart Foundation, Headway, The British Skin Foundations and Cancer Research UK charities.

Phil Hambly, Rocom’s Sales and Marketing Director said “Rocom is proud of its staff involvement in fundraising and often contributes by doubling the total amount raised to show our support”. The Brother P-Touch donation goes hand in hand with this ethos and we hope our customers will support Cancer Research UK by purchasing as many of the pink P-Touch’s as possible”.

Brother UK is well known for its ethical stance in the industry. Their presence in the ‘Good Office Guide’, produced by the Ethical Marketing Company recognizes Brother UK as the only major manufacturer to gain accreditation from the Ethical Company Organisation highlights the strength of their environmental credentials.
