Swyx celebrates channel success at partner event

Swyx a market-leading vendor of Unified Communications for SMEs rewarded its top resellers at an awards ceremony during its UK Swyx Update Tour 2010 held in Central London. According to Swyx’s Executive President, Ralf Ebbinghaus who presented the Swyx Partner Awards 2010, the UC vendor expects to double its UK revenues this year, and took this opportunity to recognise some of its partners for the part that they have played in the recovery, after a disappointing 2009.

Amongst those partners recognised for their achievements were ‘Best Newcomer’, Ring 24, ‘Best Integrated Solution’ Digital Exchange and ‘Best Reseller of the Year’, GP Network Solutions.

Swyx Sales Director Marco Crueger commented, “So far 2010 has been extremely promising and we are currently on target to achieve an impressive 100% increase in sales for the UK by the end of this year. Despite a dip in demand in 2009, organisations are investing again in technology that can increase their productivity, especially those that have re-structured and are having to do more with less.”

“Our partners are finding that because Swyx is based on a software-based, non-proprietary UC platform, it is ideally suited for companies that want to benefit fully from collaboration. Elements such as our ‘Productivity Pack’ mean that resellers can really add value to the overall solution through integration and presence.” Recent research from Gartner on UC deployment suggests that standalone solutions are losing market share with a growing trend towards integrated solutions.

He added, “Our advice to partners is to ‘Don’t’ talk, just listen to a customer’s requirements’. With the flexibility of Swyx it is then possible to build a unique solution that solves their key challenges and because it is different you are not drawn into a price war with a like for like product.”

Mike Williams, Managing Director at ‘Best Newcomer’, Ring 24 commented, “We have been putting Swyx forward at every opportunity. In our view, there is nothing on the market that can match Swyx at the moment because it offers so much functionality, is future-proofed and can be customised, no matter what type of business you are targeting.”

Neville Wilkinson, Technical Director at Digital Exchange which won the award for ‘Best Integrated Solution’ said, “Swyx is very easy to integrate with all types of applications which makes it possible to solve unusual customer challenges. This gives us the ability to offer bespoke solutions that stand apart from the rest of the systems out there, and once installed there are on-going opportunities to add value and generate on-going revenues.”

Simon Daniell, Director of Corporate Sales at GP Network Solutions who scooped the award for ‘Best Reseller’ commented, “We've seen a phenomenal rise in sales this year and Swyx has played a major part in this success. The product allows us to build some really innovative solutions for our customers that make a real difference to the way they can operate, addressing key business challenges and in turn delivering significant increases in productivity and cost-savings."
