TalkTalk Business to launch portfolio of hosted applications

Following the recent announcement of its new Hosted Unified Communications solution, TalkTalk Business confirmed that it will launch alongside an entire portfolio of hosted solutions early next year.

The new hosted enterprise PBX, developed in partnership with Mitel – as outlined at Convergence Summit South – will be included in a larger collection of channel offerings, each of which will be integrated into TalkTalk Business’ Next Generation Network.

Andy Hollingworth, Director or Wholesale said: “As our new UC offering undergoes market testing among our partners, it’s clear that resellers who want to engage from the off will not only achieve standout but will also secure an excellent opportunity for recurring revenue.

“It makes perfect sense to refine some of our more popular solutions to ensure each offer the same potential for financial return at a competitive cost within the wholesale marketplace. Our ultimate goal is for partners to be able to include innovative, market-leading hosted solutions within their portfolio at minimum cost and, therefore, minimum risk.”

As the portfolio is being developed, it looks likely to include a call recording application as well as contact and data management solutions and a security offering.

Each solution – promising resilient and reliable delivery over TalkTalk Business’ NGN – is being developed with end-user appeal in mind, offering enterprise-class functionality whilst promising easy, quick integration within an existing infrastructure. Hollingworth continued:

“It’s a major development for us; we’re very enthusiastic about offering a collection with so much potential. We’ll formally announce the complete portfolio in Q1 next year and we know our solutions could make a significant impact on reseller trading immediately.”
