TD Azlan Helps Resellers put some Zing into Customer Demos

TD Azlan has enhanced its advanced Business Solutions Centre (BSC) by installing a new range of Avaya solutions, providing resellers with access to the company’s unified communications and data networking technologies for customer demonstrations.

The solutions being implemented in the Azlan BSC include the Avaya IP Office Platform, Avaya Scopia video conferencing and collaboration and an extensive array of Avaya data networking equipment, including the portfolio of Avaya Fabric Connect networking technology for virtualised and software-defined networks. These systems will be made available for resellers to use in demonstrations, proof-of-concept testing and training, in customised configurations and alongside complementary technologies from other Azlan partner vendors such as VMware, Microsoft and Nutanix.

In equipping the Azlan Business Solutions Centre with the latest Avaya solutions, both companies are demonstrating their commitment to reseller partners.

Tony McNish, Business Unit Manager for Unified Communications, Networking and Security (UCNS) at Azlan, said: “Both Azlan and Avaya have made a considerable investment in providing equipment and expertise to furnish the Business Solutions Centre with a full complement of Avaya’s UC, conferencing and data networking solutions for mid-sized and large enterprises. Resellers can now use the Azlan BSC to demonstrate the business benefits Avaya solutions can deliver in real usage scenarios. This can be done alongside leading-edge technologies from many other vendors and without partners having to make any significant investments of their own, which is a unique advantage of this facility.”

Azlan will make its own professional services and technical experts available to assist resellers in setting up and demonstrating systems and solutions. The Business Solutions Centre can also be branded with the partner’s own logo and information.

As well as working with existing Avaya channel partners, Azlan will be looking to recruit additional resellers onto the Avaya Connect partner programme. McNish said that Azlan is particularly keen to work with resellers that have a focus on delivering virtualised infrastructures and managed services.

“Avaya is really leading the way in delivering virtualised UC and managed communications services. Avaya IP Office makes it very easy for customers to spin-up unified communications within a virtual environment, for example, and Avaya Fabric Connect networking technology enables rapid and seamless deployment of applications and services. We see some very good opportunities developing around these technologies as mid-sized organisations look to make use of more integrated communications, software-defined infrastructures and hosted services. We’ll be looking to work with partners who are keen to develop their converged networking and managed services business.”
