TeleWare Aware of UC

TeleWare, the provider of intelligent communications solutions to businesses and service providers, has a launched a new campaign to help raise awareness of the power of Unified Communications. The company has unveiled an interactive ‘sim-like’ world where players can interact with the environment and learn about the potential applications of unified communications.

The demonstrator created by the in-house TeleWare marketing team runs in a browser and provides a colourful and easy to understand explanation of a range of topics including voice over IP, hosted services, SIP trunking, application integration and private mobile networks.

“The idea came about as a response to the increasingly busy world where people lack the time to delve into seemingly complex areas,” explains Lesley Hansen, Group Marketing Director for TeleWare plc, “Interactivity is the way forward to capture interest and to breakdown issues like technical terminology and delivery methods.”

The demonstration will be made available to TeleWare channel partners for use at exhibitions, seminars and other marketing events to help promote the company’s offerings.

“Most people understand the concept of Voice over IP but we are now trying to educate people on how they can maximise the use of their existing infrastructure to gain further tangible cost savings, as well as opening up the possibility of innovative new products and services,” Hansen adds.

TeleWare has also expanded its partner resources with a range of collateral including case studies, implementation guides, marketing posters, flyers and brochures for use by its own teams and channel partners.

“In our industry, each project is probably 30% education and 70% application,” explains Hansen, “We need to provide enough tools for our partners to allow them to make the educational aspect easier and consistent to quickly get past the theory and into the practical,” said Hansen.

The expanded TeleWare partner resource centre is only available to accredited TeleWare partners. The World of TeleWare can be accessed at www.worldofteleware.com
