Telstra Europe to Drive Service Provider Channel Growth

Telstra Europe has appointed 20-year telecoms industry veteran Kevin Holland to spearhead its Service Provider Wholesale channel.

Holland has been tasked to build on Telstra Europe’s strong performance in 2007 and drive recruitment of solutions-led Service Providers to accelerate demand for Telstra’s advanced network and managed services portfolio.

Based in Telstra Europe’s London HQ and reporting into Pete Hall, Vice-President of Wholesale, Holland will be responsible for managing relationships with the company’s flagship Service Provider partners as well as growing the partner-base. Prior to joining Telstra, he held senior positions at global business telecoms company MCI and Crane Telecommunications, one of the UK’s leading communications technology distributors.

“We’re committed to being the partner of choice for the wholesale channel, and Kevin’s appointment will bring enormous benefit to both our business and our partners,” said Hall. “His passion for engaging the channel and building mutual success is infectious. He will play a key role in taking our partner programme forward and enhancing our proposition. We’ve got lots of exciting developments in the pipeline - all engineered to give our partners a cutting competitive edge.”

“It’s an exciting time to be joining Telstra Europe,” said Holland. “We’ve just completed a major UK network refresh, have one of the world’s most advanced global IP backbones and the biggest IP network in Asia Pacific. Coupled with a portfolio of advanced data networking services and connectivity solutions, we can deliver a highly compelling proposition for partners operating in the UK, Europe and globally.”
