TheCloud Ltd joins forces with Reseller Silver Lining to support the Cystic Fibrosis Autumn Ball

The Cystic Fibrosis Autumn Ball promises to be a fun filled evening of live music, dancing and fine dining, hosted at the beautiful Legacy Botleigh Grange Hotel in Southampton.

The event has been organised by Emma and Debbie, who met at secondary school in Shirley, Southampton. Debbie was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was 3 months old and was not expected to live past the age of 10. Debbie is now 25 and when she’s not working at Silver Lining she dedicates herself to raising money for Cystic Fibrosis causes. All funds raised from this event will be split between the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit at Southampton General Hospital. Both ladies understand the importance of the charity and the hospital’s work - there are over 9,000 people living with the condition in the UK. This black tie event will help enable the charity and hospital to raise funds and awareness; working towards improved medical care and knowledge.

TheCloud Team are keen to support the cause, now and into the future. Mark James, Sales and Marketing Director at TheCloud Ltd comments: “Silver Lining are a trusted reseller of ours and we have a good professional relationship with Silver Lining and event co-organiser Debbie. Debbie has been dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust for many years and we at TheCloud are more than happy to support her. We are privileged to be part of the event and have booked a VIP table so that our places are reserved early on!”

The Cystic Fibrosis Autumn Ball also has the support of one of the UK’s most well-known TV partnerships, Richard and Judy. Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan have been supporting and raising the profile of Cystic Fibrosis for around nine years ever since meeting some inspirational young CF sufferers. And the celebrity duo is right behind Debbie and Emma’s event.

Richard said: “CF is a debilitating illness that imposes a very demanding treatment regime and takes young lives. The CF sufferers we have met have all been very determined to have a positive outlook on life and to use their situation to help others”

“The ball on 20th October will be a great way to help raise money for these two great charities and also importantly raise awareness of CF.”

Judy added: “Debbie and Emma are working extremely hard to make the ball one to remember. I know there are some fantastic ways for companies to be involved with the ball on a corporate level, either by way of sponsorship or by buying exclusive VIP tables and at the same time raising the profile of their company.”

The Cystic Fibrosis Autumn Ball will be held on Saturday 20th October from 7:00pm onwards. It has been made possible by Debbie and the Silver Lining team, along with corporate sponsors like TheCloud Ltd and also Ultra Communications, among others.
