thevoicefactory launches FMC service with Siphon Networks

MSPs
SIPHON Networks announced that thevoicefactory (TVF) has deployed a solution based on the Comdasys Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) platform to deliver their FMC 2.0 service to resellers in the UK. SIPHON is a strategic distributor and integrator for Comdasys.

"TVF has always been at the forefront of mobility with it’s initial FMC1.0 service and this partnership with Siphon enables us to extend our leadership. Most so-called FMC solutions available today are just basic soft clients that enable outbound calls when in Wifi areas. Our offering works in both GSM and Wifi networks including call handover between these networks during live calls. A user can be reached or make a call anywhere presenting their fixed line number. The solution also includes several key PBX features, access to Corporate Directories and control of telephony profiles e.g DND and Call Forward options. Our service is available on Apple, Android and Blackberry.” said Paul Harrison, Director, thevoicefactory.

"Providing the user with the ability to make calls on a mobile client over Wifi is only the starting point for an effective FMC service – with our solution users can do so much more from a very intuitive mobile client interface and we will shortly be announcing support for Video” states Steve Harris, Director, SIPHON.
