THUS/Teleware Team up for TT-Office

TeleWare, the leading provider of intelligent hosted and customer premises communication solutions to businesses and service providers, today announced the launch of an exciting new venture – TT-Office.

TT-Office is a new company owned by Teleware which will be initially targeting the finance, professional services and retail sectors and will deliver solutions for business continuity, flexible working, migration and consolidation, as well as standard IP Centrex connectivity services.

TT-Office is the brainchild of Paul Greaves, Director Associates Channel, THUS plc, and Geoff Haworth, Founder and Chairman of TeleWare plc. The company has been set up as an entirely independent reseller, providing TeleWare hosted applications over THUS plc’s next-generation network.

“TT-Office addresses a clear need in the market,” said Paul Greaves, Director Associates Channel, THUS plc. “Our work with THUS customers has clearly identified the need for medium and large corporate customers to be able to purchase hosted applications as a complete service which they can trust to meet the demanding performance, service and support requirements we see in businesses today,” he added.

Lesley Hansen, Marketing Director at Teleware said that all of the regional managers within Greaves Associate Channel will be selling the solutions.

“The overall solution we are able to supply is based on the strength of our existing applications together with the THUS MPLS and access networks.”

In addition to the THUS next-generation network solutions and TeleWare applications, TT-Office solutions include Polycom phones, Virtual Telecom and Cisco Routers, Vegstream Gateways and service and support packages from ServeAssure. All these solution components support the TeleWare hosted applications for IP Centrex hosted service such, as voice messaging, IVR, conferencing and call recording, delivered on a pay-a-you-go basis over the THUS network.

“For medium and large companies, the quality and reliability of telephony is critical. More than 70% of inbound traffic to a business is, typically, voice based. The THUS MPLS based next-generation network and DSL services will ensure businesses are provided with a high quality service that supports the delivery of the TeleWare telephony applications,” explained Geoff Haworth. “The multi tenancy nature of the TeleWare hosted services platforms provides an ability to support large corporate customers and deliver hosted services reliably and with data security,” he concluded.

TT-Office have prepared an extensive training and accreditation programme and plan to sign up and accredit thirty resellers in the next six months, operating with the management and support of the THUS Regional Managers. Full operational demonstration accounts, enabling resellers to use and demonstrate all the key TT-Office services, are already established.
