The opening of a reseller training academy by distributor Nimans has got off to a flying start – as the launch of a dedicated microsite fuels further demand. Customers from all corners of the country are taking advantage of the company’s extensive in-house training courses for the first time.
For the last decade, Training and Development Manager, Matt Booth has been hosting a wide range of bespoke learning sessions specifically about the telecoms industry for members of the workforce. “We’ve been blown away by interest in the courses,” said Matt. “So far we’ve had over 250 individual course requests. Twenty three dates have been scheduled, 20 before the end of the year with a further three planned for January.
“This initiative is another example of our 100% reseller focused operation as we introduce a further valuable customer resource.”
Courses generally last for half a day at an average cost of £200. Topics cover four areas of: sales, soft skills, management and product knowledge – from an Introduction To Sales through to Advanced Account Management.
Based at Nimans’ Manchester headquarters, the courses complement a vast array of existing learning programmes, workshops and roadshows often run in conjunction with key suppliers.
