Trust Distribution chooses NEC SV8100 for own premises

When the sales team at Trust Distribution speaks to its customers about the business benefits offered by NEC’s SV8100, it is with first-hand experience: the company installed the system at its own Oldham premises and has been delighted with the results.

Trust Distribution, a leading UK voice and data distributor dedicated to the telecoms dealer market, installed the system in just one day. The SV8100 is a robust, feature-rich server for both VoIP and traditional voice communications, and as a customer itself, the company feels it is perfectly-placed to deliver real insight about the system to its dealers.

“It is always helpful to know system functionality, and using the SV8100 daily means that our sales people can talk first-hand about the flexibility of the system and what it adds to our business as a user,” explained Terry Ambrose, Joint Managing Director at Trust Distribution.

In particular, the company has found the SV8100’s MyCalls call analysis feature invaluable, and plans to roll out further applications over the coming months. “We have found it to be user friendly, function-rich and its modular design all aid efficient use,” said Ambrose. “Its big handset display and alternative ring tones are also really useful – our sales team love it.”

Also, reflecting the company’s continued growth, the SV8100 will travel with the distributor when it moves to larger premises, due in the most part to the system’s capacity for expansion.

“We know that we have chosen a future proof platform in the SV8100 and this was one of the driving reasons that we installed it.” said Ambrose.
