Trust NEC’s New Distributor

NEC Infrontia’s first move in 2007 has been to appoint a new distributor for its XN120 Hybrid IP system. Trust Distribution is now on board, fully stocked and looking to introduce the system to its network of dealer partners.

The distributor says that with a plethora of brands fighting for position in the UK’s congested marketplace, NEC pin-pointed Trust as a 100% trade distributor with the experience and hunger to drive XN120 sales hard.

NEC Infrontia Distribution Channel Manager Nick Thompson looks ahead. “The future proofing of the XN120 protects dealers and maximises opportunity. The system fully embraces analogue, ISDN and IP technologies and we were amongst the first to confirm compatibility with IP Telephony SIP networking. Trust Distribution is very much in tune with the grass roots dealer community and we see them as key communicators and partners for dealers looking to advance technologically with minimal upheaval this year.”

Trust Distribution’s Vincent Leahy concurs. “The XN120 has developed a substantial fan base without the airtime of many other brands. That speaks volumes. Once on board, dealers discover the subtleties of the system, depth of facilities and importantly the simplicity that makes it friendly to adopt, roll out and maintain.”

Trust joint owner Terry Ambrose appreciates the system ‘fit’ within the Trust portfolio. “We expand our range carefully to add intelligent options to dealer choice. With its superb expandability, the XN120 allows us to cater for demands from a 3 line and 8 extension start-up to a 96 extension opportunity with IP extensions incorporated. That makes it an efficient system for us to stock – and for dealers to adopt to apply to a wide range of sales opportunities.”

Trust has also announced their latest recruit, Lesley Keelan, who joins the company after eight years at rival distributor Nimans. Keelan will work closely with Nick Thompson to oversee the rollout of the NEC Trust proposition.
