TTB Bolsters Channel Team

TalkTalk Business has outlined its commitment to the partner channel by announcing two senior appointments, Director of Partners, Alexandra Tempest and Director of Major Accounts and Carriers, Duncan Gooding. The new directors will be tasked with bolstering the provider’s presence in the channel, with an increased focus on systems integrators and data VARs.

Alex, who most recently worked as part of Juniper Networks’ pan-EMEA partner team, will manage a team of over 30 account managers, maximising uptake of TalkTalk Business’ next-generation converged voice and data services within the indirect channel. She brings with her significant experience in dealing with global partners, carriers and system integrators; areas highlighted for future growth at TalkTalk Business.

Having worked in the industry for 23 years, Duncan has held senior roles at Logicalis UK and Computacenter, where he coordinated the firm’s UK Network and Visual Communications business. Duncan will take responsibility for TalkTalk Business’ top enterprise and direct accounts, and will work to align and develop TalkTalk Business’ systems integrator, major account and carrier teams.

TalkTalk Business’ Managing Director, Charles Bligh, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Alex and Duncan to the company, bringing specific experience of the channel and SI markets. The partner channel remains absolutely paramount to our success, collectively comprising 50% of our overall revenue, and these appointments demonstrate our commitment to effectively serving the channel.

“As we grow as a provider, Alex and Duncan will continue to lead collaboration with existing and potential partners of all sizes, driving awareness and visibility of our voice and data portfolio.”
