Unify and BT Reach Enterprise Agreement

Unified Comms
Addressing strong customer demand for integrated and collaborative infrastructure and applications and building upon a track record of customer success, Unify and BT has announced a new multi-country enterprise agreement. The agreement makes it easier for customers in the UK, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg and Germany to realise the productivity and cost-saving benefits of a joint solution offering. In the UK, focus will be on the government and healthcare sectors.

Under the terms of the agreement, BT will add Unify’s OpenScape suite of products and services to its enterprise offering, combined with BT’s networked IT expertise and professional services capability. The companies also announced that BT will join Unify’s award winning ‘Go Forward’ partner program.

OpenScape is a Unified Communications and Collaboration solution which provides a suite of voice, mobility, video, web conferencing, chat, messaging and presence applications aimed at simplifying the complexity and management of IT systems and improving business performance.

With this agreement, BT and Unify formalise a successful relationship that has already demonstrated value for private and public sector customers. These include leading businesses and public sector organisations across Europe, who rely on OpenScape to deliver unified communications and collaboration solutions to their employees.

“This agreement with BT places the customer at the forefront of our business and our thinking,” said Trevor Connell, Managing Director, West Region, Unify. “Together with BT, we are ensuring that customers have ready access to the best in tailored unified communications and collaborations solutions to support their flexible business needs. Combining our OpenScape portfolio with BT’s network capability and market reach has already delivered value to customers, and our new relationship enables us to build on this success.”

“Unify’s OpenScape will enhance the breadth of services which we deliver to our customers, and we’re excited to strengthen our relationship with Unify in the unified communications market,” said Andrew Small, Vice-President Unified Communications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM), BT Global Services. “Virtual working, unified communications and the use of collaboration tools are now a crucial part of our working lives and our new agreement with Unify ensures that we will continue to meet our customers’ needs with the best technology and expertise available.”
