Union Street’s Vincent Disneur joins The Apprentice

Vincent Disneur, Sales Manager for Union Street Technologies the supplier of billing solutions for communication providers, has been selected as a competitor in the highly popular BBC television programme The Apprentice

The programme which features tough talking entrepreneur Lord Alan Sugar, pits Vincent and 15 other competitors from various business backgrounds against one another in a knock out competition, with the chance to win a generous investment and the coveted title of Lord Sugar’s apprentice.

Vincent is a well known character in the telecoms channel and his prolific sales ability made him a finalist in last year’s Comms Business Awards. Speaking on his entry to the competition, contestant Vincent Disneur said “My positive approach and very good looks make me stand out from the crowd.”

This will be the seventh series of the Apprentice, and fans of the programme will eagerly anticipate the familiar sight of would be entrepreneurs competing in a variety of challenging business situations to impress Sir Alan and his advisors. This year’s series will however differ from previous years, as contestants will now be competing for a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar as opposed to previous series where the prize has been a position within Lord Sugar’s organisation and a 6 figure salary.

Speaking on Vincent’s entry into The Apprentice Union Street’s Managing Director Tony Cook commented “At Union Street we’re delighted for Vincent that he has been chosen as a contestant in this year’s series of The Apprentice, and we wish him all the best in the competition. I’ve no doubt that his talents will carry him far, and I strongly believe he has what it takes to win.”
