Uniworld Launches Mobile Services

Despite doom and gloom messages regarding business spend on fixed line telecoms statistics from Ofcom show that spend by businesses on their communications requirements (data, internet, IP and mobile) is increasing presenting opportunities for sales of value added and ‘bundled’ communications solutions.

In light of this growth Uniworld in launching a mobile service designed for the SME market. This offers users competitive and clear pricing across a broad range of business handsets.

A major advantage for Channel Partners in using Uniworld to provide mobile services is that customers can access all of their fixed and mobile telecoms requirements from a single supplier with one bill.

With no third party contracts involved the supply chain for Channel Partners and customers is simplified, a real benefit in a busy business environment.

Uniworld has also launched Crosslink, a service aimed at business users who make international mobile calls from within the UK. The service can significantly reduce international mobile call costs by routing calls over the industry leading IP network of Uniworld’s parent company, Gamma Telecom.

Channel Partners can use Crosslink to reduce the mobile costs of customers without having to invest in becoming a mobile service provider or in a mobile billing platform.

Michael J Thornton, Sales and Marketing Director of Uniworld, comments, “We are delighted to be offering these mobile services to businesses via the Channel. Our ability to provide Channel Partners with the opportunity to place all the telecoms and data requirements of their customers with us on one single bill is an exciting opportunity for the market”.
