Vanco Signs Network Services Agreement with Lovells

Lovells, an International law firm, has appointed Vanco, the global Virtual Network Operator (VNO) to design, implement and manage its global wide area network (WAN). The 3 year agreement, worth over 1.2 million pounds, will deliver complete end-to-end connectivity, providing support for Lovells’ business critical applications and a platform to support future development of voice and video services.

The Vanco solution will deploy MPLS, DSL and IP-SEC services to 23 locations in 14 countries in Europe, US and Asia Pac including the UK, Netherlands, Italy, USA, Russia, Czech Republic, Japan, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, France, Germany and Belgium. The solution will provide a highly available service at an optimal cost. Vanco will also deploy its Active Back-up technology to further increase the performance and cost efficiency of the network for Lovells.

Ian McFiggins, IT Director at Lovells said “We selected Vanco because throughout our engagement they have consistently demonstrated technical innovation and a real focus on customer service, something that we take very seriously. Vanco’s technical and carrier independence made a significant difference to the way they approached our requirement and I am confident will provide on going benefits to Lovells.”

Andy Sumner MD of Vanco UK said “I am delighted to welcome Lovells as a Vanco customer. Lovells joins an increasing number of professional services organisations selecting Vanco to deploy and manage their business critical global networks. As a result of our carrier independent position we have been able to design a solution for Lovells which dramatically increases the bandwidth to their locations but avoids any increase to their network costs.”
