Distributor Rocom is set to announce a series of vertical marketing workshops with Avaya and third party application vendor New Media Software that will see resellers introduced to the opportunities afforded by the Legal and Education sectors.
Phil McGowan, Managing Director of New Media Software commented, “Our Adaptive Suite of products provides real world productivity tools that enhance and extend the capabilities of the PBX platform and in doing so offers the reseller the opportunity to increase margins and further lock in their customers with applications that deliver competitive edge.
Resellers that have developed and honed their vertical marketing skills generally reap the rewards of achieving higher margins, more repeat business and customer referrals. The Adaptive Suite of applications is ideally suited to a wide range of vertical markets including the legal and education sectors.”
It is understood that Rocom is to address the Finance/Insurance and Healthcare sectors as well in the near future.
Kevin Harrison, Head of the Avaya Business Unit at Rocom commented: “Every vertical market has unique requirements and adapting to these can be difficult without insider knowledge – which is why we have introduced our workshops.
We have engaged with expert speakers from the education and legal sectors who will be on hand to help resellers understand how the sectors work in terms of funding, decision making and of course to understand common pain points that resellers should be aware of.
This fits very squarely with the Training element of our Total Distribution philosophy – our aim is not only to provide system training, but to extend that training to ensure our resellers have all the information they need to sell the applications.”
Rob Wiles of Avaya commented: “The vertical workshops are a great initiative that will definitely increase reseller knowledge and as a result, competitive advantage within these sectors.
We have two workshops planned for October: 21st October in Guildford, Surrey and the 23rd at Rocom offices in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.
Resellers should not miss the opportunity to get up to speed with these markets.”
