Birmingham-based mobile phone supplier, Voice Mobile, has been listed on the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100, published on 6 December 2009.

The company ranked amongst Britain’s 100 fastest growing privately owned companies, having achieved sales growth of 59% per year, from £1.8 million in 2005 to £7.1 million in 2008.

Established in 2000, Voice Mobile has grown to become one of the largest suppliers of mobile phones to businesses in the UK. Its customers include Birmingham City Football Club and half of the UK’s Police Federations. The company is about to double staff by opening a 30 seat call centre in its newly expanded offices at the prestigious Fort Dunlop building. It has also recently invested in a sophisticated new IT and communications infrastructure to support its customer service and sales strategy.

Ian Watson, founder and managing director of Voice Mobile, said: “We are really excited to be on the Fast Track 100. Over the years we have always kept our focus on customer service which we approach in a scientific manner. I believe this has been behind our continued growth, both in a highly competitive market and through economically tough periods.”

Sir Richard Branson of Virgin, which has sponsored the league table for all 13 years, commented: “The last year has been one of the toughest I remember in business; but the fear of the early part of 2009 has been replaced by optimism we will find a way through. This sense of optimism is reflected in the sterling performance of the Fast Track 100 companies who are expecting impressive continued growth this year.”

The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 was published in a special 10 page supplement, with the business section of The Sunday Times on 6 December.
