VoIP Unlimited do Jumper Fundraiser

MSPs
Staff at Poole telecommunications firm VoIP Unlimited donned their brightest Christmas jumpers last week to raise money for HeadSmart; a campaign launched by the company’s charity of the year The Brain Tumour Charity, which aims to raise the awareness of brain tumour symptoms in children and young people.

What’s more, the company decided to donate the money that would have been spent designing, printing and posting Christmas cards for clients to the HeadSmart campaign, with more than £500 donated as a result of this alone. The staff also took part in a number of games on Christmas jumper day, including ‘pin the nose on the reindeer’ and a treasure hunt in order to raise funds.

VoIP Unlimited managing director, Mark Pillow said: “We chose to hold a Christmas jumper day to bring a bit of fun and festive revelry to our fundraising. The staff dug deep into their pockets and donated generously, truly embracing the spirit of Christmas.”

He added, “With more funds being added to the HeadSmart charity pot daily, we don’t as yet know the definitive amount that we’ve raised this Christmas, but I’m expecting the total will be in the high hundreds.”
