Wavenet Acquires Next IS

Midlands based communications provider Wavenet has completed the acquisition of Next IS, the Surrey based supplier of network services specialising in inbound call solutions.

Wavenet Managing Director Bill Dawson commented, “The addition of Next IS, their staff, solutions and customer base fits perfectly with our operations and business strategy and will be of great interest to resellers seeking a partner that offers them a well rounded portfolio of network services.

Wavenet continues to build a highly focused portfolio of products, services and applications for our channel partners that enable resellers to readily differentiate themselves in the market and build high margin revenue streams at the same time. Now, with the addition of Next IS we can expand their sales opportunities even further with inbound call services and solutions that are affordable by all businesses, irrespective of size.”

Inbound call solutions are ideal for companies looking to attract and manage high call volumes. As well as helping users to field calls more effectively to improve customer service, they offer long-term operational savings and up-front cost advantages.

Wavenet is very much focused on both organic and acquisitive growth and this strategy enables us to maintain the investment we make in people, our network and new products. We are a market leader in high value network propositions with very few voice and data communications companies now matching our size, product portfolio and expertise.”

The acquisition of Next IS follows Wavenet’s recent purchase and integration of UK Data IT, the Worcester based vendor of CallGard, a cloud based service that prevents call centres and companies making unauthorised phone calls to members of the TPS (Telephone Preference Service).
