Westcon-Comstor once again took top honours as Avaya’s U.K. Distributor of the Year. For the second consecutive period, the value-added technology distributor of category-leading solutions in Security, Collaboration, Networking and Data Centre, was praised for its significant growth in target sectors, extensive sales and technical support capabilities and partner training and demand-generation activities.
Westcon-Comstor’s Avaya Sales Director John Nolan accepted the award earlier this month at Avaya’s annual Partner Connection event, which was held at the vendor’s U.K. headquarters in Guildford. More than 120 channel partner representatives attended. “This is fantastic recognition and reward for the hard work, dedication and expertise the team has shown over the last 12 months,” commented Nolan. “There has been a real focus on Westcon-Comstor’s value- added services, and that is consistently reflected in the loyalty we see from our partners.”
Andrew Litherland, head of European Channels at Avaya, added: “We are delighted to honour Westcon-Comstor’s Unified Communications and Collaboration practice with this award in recognition of its commitment to the Avaya channel and the quality of the service it provides. The company has achieved considerable growth, particularly in key focus areas of networking, contact centre and the midmarket. Westcon-Comstor continues to increase its support for existing customers through highly successful, new incentive programmes, marketing collateral and training.”
“This award is great recognition of our efforts, and to win it in consecutive years demonstrates not only the quality of our Avaya Sales & Pre- Sales organisation, but also the consistent high standard maintained over the last two years,” said Garry Boon, Westcon-Comstor General Manager UC&C UK&I. “Our investments in our Avaya training offering, service contract renewals, demonstration facilities and marketing services, all continue to deliver high value, making Westcon-Comstor a real strategic partner to our Avaya customers.”
