Westcon Group raised an impressive total of £2,167 for St. Catherine’s Hospice in a charity raffle and silent auction at its annual kick-off celebrations last month. St. Catherine’s Hospice is a charity based in Crawley, close to the Westcon Office and is close to many employees’ hearts as it helps friends and relatives facing terminal illnesses.
Tony Nevill, Managing Director UK & Ireland, Westcon Group commented, “St. Catherine’s Hospice is a remarkable charity that makes a difference to the lives of the terminally ill and their families. The hospice needs to raise £5.5 million per annum in voluntary income to ensure that they can keep providing the services to those in need. And for this reason it is Westcon’s chosen charity of the year, and we will be conducting fund raising events to raise funds to help them provide the level of support that is required.”
