Yealink Interoperates with Elastix

Telephony
Yealink and Elastix, an open source software solution for unified communications in Latin America, have announced today the compatibility between Yealink’s CP860 Diamond IP Conference Phone and the W52P DECT phone with the Elastix PBX system.

Yealink joined the Elastix Hardware Certification Program (EHCP) in 2009. The partnership guarantees full interoperability between Yealink IP phones and Elastix systems.

Yealink’s supported CP860 conference phone is intended for small- to medium-sized meeting rooms. The unit provides “diamond clear” voice performance and multiple industry-unique features, such as call linkage with PC or mobile softphones, USB recording and conferencing for up to five parties. The cordless DECT phone W52P meets customers’ mobility needs and ensures smooth and efficient communication thanks to its ECO technology and rich phone functions.

“Yealink was one of the first manufacturers to join the hardware certification program in Elastix. With the addition of new models, including the CP860, Yealink continue offering high quality products to the existing base of Elastix users.” Said Paul Estrella, Project Manager at Elastix.

“Yealink and Elastix have been long-term partners and we are very excited to see the relationship deepen with expanded product offerings,” said Stone Lu, Vice President of Yealink. “Our CP860 is Elastix’s first certified conference phone in the EHCP program,” he added. “We are confident that our future cooperation with Elastix will create more ‘firsts’ and will continue to bring more value to our customers in Latin America and beyond.”
