Yealink Responds to ‘New Austerity’ with Cost Saving ‘Twin Set’ Packages

Specialist VoIP manufacturer Yealink has responded to increased budgetary pressures being placed on telecoms specifiers by launching ‘Twin Set’ deals offering savings of up to 17.5%. The new discounts apply when the company’s popular SIP ‘phones are purchased as a package with a headset or expansion module.

This means buyers can save £18.75 on the combined recommended retail price of the YHS32 headset and any one of the T20P, T22P, T26P and T28P SIP handsets. Purchased separately the T22P and YHS32 would cost £125 but the Twin Set price tag is just £106.25, the 17.5% saving making it effectively VAT free.

Similar deals are offered when either the T26P or T28P are purchased with an EXP38 expansion module which extends the handset’s capabilities, the ability to ‘daisy chain’ up to six modules yielding 228 programmable buttons with dual colour LEDs. The T26P and EXP38 package carries a highly affordable RRP of £168.75, down from £181.15.

Explaining the launch of the Twin Set initiative Charles Williams, Yealink’s Head of Distribution Channels said: “Times remain tough and could well get tougher under the ‘new austerity and so every penny is being watched. That’s why we’ve come up with this common sense, money saving initiative. After all when an organisation buys a new handset they’re highly likely to need or desire an accompanying headset so why not package them together in a cut price deal?”

An over-the-head style, ultra-light, noise cancelling headset with inbuilt acoustic shock protection the YHS32 is a robust model designed for professional use in offices, home-working and call centre environment. It is compatible with all models in Yealink’s T2x handset range all of which incorporate TI Titan chipsets and a standard feature set including HD voice quality, PoE and PSU, auto -provisioning and two Ethernet ports.
