The seventh annual Mobile Phone Throwing World Championship, held in a small Finnish town close to the Russian border, drew a hundred 100 throwers from as far afield as Belgium and Canada. But Finland’s Lassi Etelatalo hit gold, flinging a dud Nokia some 89m.
